Lynnette Ramirez is a visionary producer and entertainment executive with over 25 years of industry experience. She has earned the trust of iconic talents including George Lopez, Sean Connery, Jennifer Lopez, Angela Bassett, and Courtney B. Vance.
Most recently, she executive produced the NAACP Award–nominated Heist 88 for Showtime, starring Courtney B. Vance. Earlier in her career, she was named to Multichannel News’ “40 Under 40” in both 2014 and 2015, affirming her leadership and influence in entertainment.
Her wide-ranging background includes serving as Head of Development for 20K, a CBS Television Studios joint venture, and as Senior Development Executive at Very Tall Productions, where she helped shepherd, the award-winning Red Table Talk. From 2012 to 2016, she was Senior Vice President of Original Content at Fuse Media, where she oversaw and executive produced acclaimed series including Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce, Fluffy Breaks Even, and Transcendent, collaborating with top creators such as Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias.
Lynnette began her career with Sean Connery’s Fountainbridge Films, contributing to films such as Entrapment and Finding Forrester. She later launched her own production company, Vida Films, producing features including The Blue Hour and 2 Days. She went on to serve as SVP of Development and Production for George Lopez Presents at Warner Bros., producing projects like the Nickelodeon hit Mr. Troop Mom.
In addition to her work as a producer, Lynnette is also a writer, having sold romantic comedy screenplays and maintained a popular Hollywood blog. She now shares her expertise with aspiring professionals through workshops on personal storytelling, and as a Professor of Entertainment Business at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. She also leads and supports arts and equity initiatives as Board Chair of The Unusual Suspects, a board member of Color Entertainment, and an advisory board member of the Center for Scholars & Storytellers.
